Wyoming Integration and Schwab Listing Send Chainlink Price Soaring
Chainlink's price surged by 6% over the past 24 hours due to several key catalysts. Wyoming's integration of Chainlink's Proof of Reserve (PoR) and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for its state-issued Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) is a significant factor.
This move, announced on September 2, provides near real-time on-chain verification of FRNT's backing and adds Chainlink's Secure Mint controls. Wyoming also migrated FRNT's cross-chain infrastructure from LayerZero to CCIP, making it the exclusive cross-chain layer for the state token.
An additional driver is Charles Schwab's listing announcement on August 27, which gave LINK direct access to Schwab's 39.9 million active brokerage accounts and trillions of dollars in client assets. The announcement caused a 6-7% gain in LINK on the day.
