X Adds Direct Trading Feature to Cashtag Tickers

X has launched the Cashtag Partner Program in the U.S., allowing users to trade cryptocurrencies directly from the platform.

The program adds a 'Trade' button to Cashtags, which brings up price charts and related posts before allowing users to select a partner brokerage and complete the transaction.

Supported brokerage partners include Coinbase, Kraken, Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, and Gemini.

X is not acting as an exchange but rather as a discovery layer, routing trades to partner platforms for execution.
