X Brings Crypto and Stock Trading to Timeline for US Users

Elon Musk's X has added a new feature to its platform that allows users in the US to trade cryptocurrencies and stocks directly from their timeline.

The feature, now live, enables users to tap on cashtags like BTC or TSLA, view their live charts, and hit the 'Trade' button. This takes them to one of X's partner platforms - Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, or Coinbase - where they can log in or sign up to complete the order.

X has millions of users worldwide, with active daily engagement reaching 132 million via mobile devices and over 245 million globally across all devices. The platform is also a central hub for the crypto community, with a single post from a prominent figure capable of shifting liquidity across exchanges.
