X Integrates Direct Trading with Major Brokerages via Cashtag Partner Program
X has expanded its capabilities to become an even more comprehensive 'Everything App' by introducing direct trading integration with leading brokerages. The U.S. Cashtag Partner Program features five key partners: Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, Interactive Brokers, and Moomoo.
These partnerships allow users to access various market segments, including dedicated cryptocurrency exchanges and multi-asset trading platforms. A 'Trade' button now appears on cashtag pages, directing users to their selected brokerage partner for actual trade execution.
X serves as a gateway only, with all account creation, verification procedures, and transaction terms managed by the respective brokerage. This functionality is an advancement of smart cashtags introduced earlier this year, which featured live data and charts.
