X Integrates Trading into Financial Conversations with Cashtags
X has launched its Cashtag Partner Program in the US, allowing users to trade directly from financial conversations on the platform.
The program connects supported brokerages with X's user base, giving them access to a range of trading options.
Initially, five brokerages are participating: Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase. Users can tap a Cashtag to view price information and related posts, then select a brokerage partner and log in or create an account to complete the transaction on the platform.
X says this program aims to connect financial discovery and market discussion with direct access to trading capabilities without requiring users to separately search for a brokerage. Monique, Head of Global Advertising at SpaceXAI, notes that these partnerships link financial conversation on X with direct access to brokerage platforms.
