X Sues Bitcoin Account Operators Over $278K Creator Revenue-Sharing Fraud

X has filed a lawsuit in the High Court of England and Wales against operators behind a network of Bitcoin-focused accounts, accusing them of manipulating engagement to obtain payouts from X's creator revenue-sharing program.

The complaint alleges that defendants Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and unidentified account operators coordinated multiple accounts to generate engagement in a way that looked 'human' while being artificial.

X seeks recovery of at least £207,384 (about $278,000) in creator revenue-sharing payouts tied to account activity between August 2023 and February 2026.
