X Sues Influencers Over Alleged £207K Creator Revenue Fraud

X Corp., the company behind X, has filed a lawsuit against three Bitcoin influencers in the UK High Court. The lawsuit alleges that Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and related account operators coordinated to post similar content on X's Creator Revenue Sharing Program, artificially inflating their earnings by at least £207,384.

The accounts were suspended by X on August 18, but not before allegedly earning the substantial amount of money. X is seeking repayment, damages, interest, and legal costs from the defendants.

The investigation and remediation costs are estimated to be around £75,000. The lawsuit highlights the potential for abuse in social media platforms' creator revenue sharing programs.
