XLM Teeters on SMA 200 Support, Targets $0.15 or Bounce to $0.19

XLM is teetering at its long-term support level of $0.17, which also serves as the current price. The coin has slipped through all short-term moving averages and is experiencing aggressive spot selling, with a cautious whale bid in derivatives. If XLM breaks below $0.17, it will have no buffer zone and could drop to $0.15.

The technical setup is simple but precarious, with the entire moving average stack converged into a single wall of resistance at $0.18. Breaking above this level would be a significant improvement for XLM, but on the downside, a single red session with volume could carve through the current support level. The Bollinger lower band at $0.15 becomes the magnetic target if $0.17 gives way convincingly.

The derivatives market is telling conflicting stories, with retail positioning leaning net short and top traders positioned net long. This divergence matters, as smart money has historically had an edge over retail in such situations. However, it's not a free pass, and the taker buy/sell ratio indicates aggressive directional selling in spot.
