XRP Analyst Disputes $750-$1000 Targets, Cites More Realistic Cup-and-Handle Projections
Ripple (XRP) has been on a rollercoaster ride in recent times, and chart analysts are weighing in on its potential future prices. According to Chartnurd, a blockchain outlet reported that an XRP target of $750 to $1,000 based on a long-term cup-and-handle pattern is not supported by the chart structure.
The analysis suggests that the Fibonacci extension criteria do not align with these targets. Instead, it points to measurable long-term targets of $8.47, $13.70, and $27.31. These figures are based on a long-term cup-and-handle pattern spanning about 8.5 years.
The chart structure shows XRP's price around $1.47, with the handle zone moving above two Fibonacci support lines. These prices were presented as potential support zones, not lows that must be reached. Chartnurd previously pointed to the $0.89 area as a long-term technical support level.
The analysis suggests that if a breakout is confirmed, these figures should be interpreted as technical projections rather than fixed price outcomes or deadlines for reaching them. The points to watch are where the handle zone confirms support and whether a breakout above the top of the long-term structure is actually confirmed.
