XRP Asia Launch Aims to Boost Adoption but Price Stays Range-Bound
XRP is currently trading near $1.51 as of October 5, showing a modest 0.7% gain over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency has seen a new catalyst with the launch of XRP Asia at the XRP Seoul 2026 event on October 3. Led by Sabrina Tachdjian, a former Hedera Foundation executive, XRP Asia aims to boost developer education, establish regional hubs, and support project funding and commercial launches in the Asia-Pacific region.
The initiative builds on existing XRP communities in Korea and Japan, with recent developments like XRP Ledger access for Singapore users adding to the adoption narrative. Despite these efforts, market reaction has been subdued, with XRP up only 2% over the past week and 7.4% over the past 30 days, though it remains roughly 50% lower than its value a year ago.
Technical indicators suggest strong accumulation of XRP over the past seven days, with bullish momentum building according to MACD and EMA trends. However, XRP has been trading in a tight range between $1.50 and $1.53, with key resistance levels at $1.52, $1.55, $1.61, and $1.70, $1.75. Support levels are identified at $1.45, $1.47, $1.40, and $1.25.
While XRP Asia provides another route for long-term adoption in the Asia-Pacific region, the cryptocurrency has yet to see a decisive repricing of this prospect. Traders may look beyond large-cap tokens for earlier-stage infrastructure exposure if XRP remains capped below $1.55.
