XRP at a Crossroads: Can Ripple's Token Continue Its Three-Month Streak?
Ripple's XRP token has been on a roll for three consecutive months, ending September in the green after a 10% gain. The cross-border altcoin reached over $1.50 and even attempted to breach the $1.60 resistance level, but ultimately fell short.
The month of September also saw significant growth in XRP-based spot ETFs, which added over $120 million to their funds. This marks the fifth consecutive month without a single red week for these funds since early July, with cumulative net inflows reaching a new all-time high of nearly $1.8 billion.
However, October has historically been a challenging month for XRP, with only five out of the last 13 Octobers resulting in gains for the token. The past two editions delivered double-digit losses, with a 16.7% plunge in 2024 and a correction alongside the broader market in 2023.
XRP enters October at a crossroads, with its three-month green streak under threat from its troubled history during this month. Will Ripple's token continue to defy expectations or will it succumb to the pressure of past Octobers?
