$XRP Binance Reserves Plummet by 500M as Whale Withdrawals Dominate
The price of XRP has been stuck in a bearish trend line since its steep correction on August 22nd, but despite this momentum, a quiet trend has continued beneath the sell-off: Ripple tokens keep leaving the Binance exchange.
According to CryptoQuant data, since November 2025, the altcoin's monthly reserves have fallen from 3.1 billion to 2.6 billion XRP, removing roughly 500 million tokens.
This decline in reserves has been a steady trend through rebounds and retracements, reaching its weakest level since February 2024. The divergence in trends indicates that XRP holders are increasingly moving XRP from exchanges like Binance rather than returning it to an exchange.
The trend is dominated by whale outflows, which reached 84.25% on August 21st, with retail slipping to just 15%. This concentration matters because large transfers can reshape exchange liquidity faster than dispersed retail movements.
