XRP Breaks Below $1 Floor as Adoption Fails to Lift Price
XRP's price has broken below $1 for the first time in 635 days, despite significant adoption of the XRP Ledger and over $4 billion in real-world assets tied to it. The token slipped to $0.9915 on August 11, ending a streak that had seen it trade above this threshold since November 2024.
Buyers would need to reclaim $1.03 to improve the short-term structure of XRP's price chart, while analysts see $0.70 to $0.90 as the next support level after the token briefly traded below Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin.
The adoption divide between XRP and other assets remains a point of contention, with some citing institutional settlement activity that can bypass XRP as weakening the case for increased demand for the token.
