XRP Buying Spree Outpaces Bitcoin ETF Withdrawals
XRP spot purchase volumes on Bitrue surged by 212% between Feb. 23 and Feb. 24, outpacing sell-side activity by more than two times.
The increase in buying followed a mid-February drawdown that resulted in approximately $1.93 billion in realized losses for XRP spot traders.
This type of market reset has historically coincided with the exit of short-term and leveraged positions, reducing immediate sell pressure and allowing new accumulation phases to form.
The surge in XRP buying comes as investors have withdrawn close to $3.8 billion from U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds over a five-week stretch.
