XRP Community Eyes Busy October with Key Events and Upgrades

The XRP community is gearing up for a busy October, with several key events and upgrades scheduled to take place. The highlight of the month will be the XRP Seoul event, set to take place on October 3, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Seoul during Korea Blockchain Week.

Ripple executives, including President Monica Long and SVP Markus Infanger, will participate in discussions with major Korean financial institutions, such as Kyobo Securities, Woori Bank, and Kakao Bank. The sessions will focus on tokenization, payments on crypto rails, and decentralized finance (DeFi).

The XRP Ledger is also set for a busy October, with the Batch, fixBatchV1_2, and permissions delegation amendments scheduled to launch in the coming month. The Batch and fix are expected to activate on mainnet on October 9, while permissions delegation will launch on October 8, provided they receive above 80% support for the two-week activation window.
