XRP Community Speculates After Ex-CFTC Chair’s Ripple Office Visit
Caroline Pham, CEO of MoonPay Institutional and former acting chairman of the U.S. CFTC, has ignited excitement in the XRP community after posting a photo from Ripple’s office. The image, a selfie in front of Ripple’s logo with only the bulging eyes emoji as a caption, quickly gained attention from XRP supporters.
Many speculate that the post hints at something significant involving Ripple, MoonPay, and XRP. Comments like “Slowly… and then all at once. Something big” from XRP commentator BankXRP and “All eyes on Ripple” from developer Bird added to the buzz. However, skepticism remains, with some followers questioning the importance of the post.
This isn’t Pham’s first visit to Ripple’s office. In September 2022, while serving as a CFTC commissioner, she shared a photo with CEO Brad Garlinghouse during what she called a “learning tour.” Garlinghouse described the meeting as a public-private engagement, highlighting Pham’s past engagement with crypto and blockchain companies.
Pham’s current role at MoonPay Institutional has fueled speculation about potential collaborations between MoonPay and Ripple. Both companies focus on crypto payments and infrastructure, though neither has confirmed any new developments.
