XRP Consolidation Continues as Trading Volume Falls
XRP has been consolidating around $1.48 to $1.50 after its August recovery from approximately $1.00 to $1.70. The token's latest attempt to break through $1.54 resistance failed, and trading volume fell by about 39.5% to $2.26 billion on October 3.
Despite the decline in trading volume, institutional demand remained positive during September, with US spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracting approximately $121.4 million in net inflows. However, this has not translated into a sustained price breakout for XRP.
The broader daily structure remains constructive, but the four-hour chart continues to show lower highs. A break above the descending resistance line and recovery through $1.54 would indicate that short-term sellers are losing control.
