XRP Could Replace USD as CBDC Infrastructure, Says Expert

Ripple Bull Winkle has resurfaced an old interview from Stansberry Research featuring David Morgan of TheMorganReport. In the four-year-old video, Morgan discusses the possibility of building a central bank digital currency on existing cryptocurrency infrastructure.

Morgan says that authorities could build a CBDC on top of a cryptocurrency like XRP or another digital asset that already functions and has been tested.

Ripple Bull Winkle claims this could be evidence that XRP is set to replace the US dollar, but Morgan's actual comments suggest using XRP as infrastructure for a future CBDC rather than directly identifying it as a replacement for the dollar.
