XRP CVD Collapses as US Senate Fails to Advance Clarity Act
The US Senate's failure to advance the Clarity Act has sent shockwaves through the crypto market, causing XRP's spot Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) to plummet by over $10 million in a matter of hours.
XRP was trading near $1.40 before the vote but fell more than 10% after the result, with its CVD dropping from 6.512 million to -10.575 million on Bybit.
The Clarity Act aimed to establish a broader federal framework for digital assets in 2026, but it needed at least 60 votes to move forward and only garnered 50 in favor.
Republican leaders had made last-minute changes to the bill, including new ethics rules, but these efforts were not enough to secure more Democratic support.
