XRP Defies Regulatory Headwinds with 10-Week ETF Inflow Streak
XRP has experienced a resurgence in price, climbing to $1.47 over the past 24 hours and maintaining a streak of ten consecutive weeks of net inflows into spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This uptick in value comes amidst a regulatory backdrop that could have been expected to dampen investor enthusiasm.
The CLARITY Act market structure bill failed a Senate cloture vote on September 20, causing XRP's price to drop roughly 11% intraday. However, institutional flows remained unaffected by the news, while retail price action briefly dipped before recovering and pushing the token to fresh weekly highs.
As XRP continues to trade within a range between $1.26 and $1.54, technical analysts point to the upper boundary of this range as the key target for bulls. A break above $1.54 would clear a significant hurdle and potentially pave the way for a run towards the August high near $1.70.
Meanwhile, some capital is rotating towards earlier-stage infrastructure plays such as LiquidChain, a Layer 3 protocol positioning itself as a cross-chain liquidity layer. The presale has raised $970,233 against a target of $1,078,671.88, with tokens priced at $0.014957.
