XRP Dominates Grayscale's Next-Gen Portfolio, Leaving Bitcoin Behind

Grayscale has launched four model portfolios for financial advisors to use with their clients. One of them, called 'Digital Assets Next Gen', gives investors exposure to crypto assets beyond Bitcoin. Ripple's XRP holds a significant 26.11% allocation in this portfolio as of August 31st.

The portfolio includes seven holdings: Ethereum at 42.34%, Solana at 21.09%, and the remaining assets being Hyperliquid, Chainlink, Avalanche, Sui, and XRP. Notably, Bitcoin is not included in this particular portfolio.

This move by Grayscale comes as it filed an amendment to move its Litecoin Trust closer to an ETF structure. The altcoin season index currently sits at 36, indicating that Bitcoin dominates the market for now.
