XRP ETF Crashes 45%, Reflecting Broader Market Volatility
The first-ever spot XRP ETF, Hashdex Nasdaq XRP Fundo de Índice (XRPH11), has plummeted nearly 45% from its all-time high. The fund, listed on Brazil's B3 exchange and launched in April 2025, offers direct exposure to the cryptocurrency through a regulated exchange-traded fund structure.
After initially surging following its launch, XRPH11 entered a prolonged downturn that accelerated throughout 2026. As of Friday, the ETF closed at $2.11, marking a 44.45% decline from its peak.
The fund's performance is in contrast to its North American counterparts, which have attracted significantly more assets and trading volumes. Canada launched its first spot XRP ETFs in June 2025, with Purpose Investments introducing XRPP and 3iQ listing XRPQ on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Despite having limited influence on XRP price discovery, the Brazilian XRP investment fund's decline may be indicative of a broader market trend. XRP is currently trading at $1.38, down about 2.5% over the past 24 hours and nearly 7% on the weekly timeframe.
