XRP ETF Demand Reaches $1.67B as Institutional Investors Buy Up Supply
The demand for XRP ETFs has been resilient despite Ripple's [XRP] struggling market structure. The cumulative net inflows reached $1.67 billion by August 31st, continuing their upward trajectory since May. This indicates that institutional investors are purchasing a significant amount of XRP.
Weekly net inflows jumped from $39.78 million to $110.49 million towards the end of August, while weekly trading volume increased from $253.05 million to $363.03 million. The fund's net assets also rose to $1.44 billion from $1.33 billion.
However, XRP's price fell from around $1.70 to the range of $1.35-$1.40 throughout this period. This suggests that institutional sellers are selling their positions with little resistance, as new demand has not been sufficient to push prices higher.
