XRP ETF Growth Driven by Strong Track Record and Real-World Use Cases
Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan says XRP's ETF growth is down to two key factors, which give financial advisers confidence in its persistence and use cases. Firstly, XRP has a strong track record that alleviates concerns about crypto's long-term viability. Secondly, it fits into real-world applications like stablecoins and cross-currency liquidity, which are familiar concepts for advisers.
Hougan mentioned how tangible use cases translate into adviser confidence, saying 'They understand and appreciate news.' Despite XRP's growth, Solana is pulling in stronger recent ETF demand, attracting $469.09 million over the 11 weeks ending Sept. 25, compared to XRP's $306.41 million.
However, XRP still holds an edge with a larger cumulative net inflow total and more individual weekly comparisons. Solana's lead comes from concentrated bursts in just two weeks, accounting for 73% of its total inflows over that stretch.
