XRP ETF Inflows Surge to $1.5B Amid Token Price Slump
XRP-backed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continue to attract institutional investment, pulling in $27.29 million in July and marking a fourth straight month of net inflows.
The cumulative XRP ETF inflows now sit near $1.5 billion, the largest total among altcoin products, despite the token's price sliding 40% since the start of the year.
XRP funds have ranked first or second in monthly inflows since April, with only minimal outflows recorded during this period.
The steady buying pressure is notable given the broader crypto market's poor performance, where fresh capital is concentrated in a handful of tokens.
However, XRP's price hasn't followed the trend of increasing ETF demand. Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg recently filed to sell XRP ETF shares he acquired before the fund's listing at $20.45 per share, roughly half the price earlier insiders got in January.
