XRP ETF Sees Net Asset Decline Despite $82M Capital Inflow
Canary's XRP ETF saw significant changes in its net assets and holdings during the first half of 2026. The fund added $82 million in net capital, but the value of its XRP holdings fell sharply due to declining prices.
The fund held approximately 231.3 million XRP on June 30, a 31.7% increase from the end of 2025. However, this increase did not translate into higher dollar values for the fund, as the market value of its XRP holdings decreased by $81.6 million.
The main reason for this decline was unrealized losses from the fall in XRP's value, which accounted for most of the fund's operations loss of approximately $164 million. The fund also reported around $3.59 million in realized losses due to selling 3.93 million XRP to fund share redemptions.
