XRP ETFs Hit Brief Speed Bump Amid $192M Inflow Month
The XRP ETF market experienced a brief slowdown on September 17, but big investors are not abandoning their tokens just yet. According to data from CryptoRank, there was a $5.15 million outflow from US spot XRP exchange-traded products that day, interrupting an otherwise positive trend.
This single-day reversal did not mark the end of the inflow month, however, which saw $192 million in new investments. The five-fund series, led by Maketo and Canary Capital, remained about $10 million positive for the rolling week through September 17.
The outflow was concentrated in two funds: Maketo's XRPC and 21Shares' TOXR. While this may be a cause for concern, analysts believe that a sustained weekly outflow across multiple funds would be a more significant indicator of a cooling demand trend.
