XRP ETFs Outperform Solana Amid Regulatory Hopes
XRP exchange-traded funds have attracted significantly more capital than Solana products since their launch in November 2025. XRP ETFs have pulled in $1.39 billion, while Solana funds have gathered $1.12 billion, a roughly $270 million gap.
The difference is attributed to regulatory clarity, not technical advancements. The CLARITY Act would provide defined rules for XRP custody, collateral treatment, and balance-sheet exposure, which is necessary for institutional investors to deploy capital at scale.
Standard Chartered has projected $4 billion to $8 billion in XRP ETF inflows by year-end if the bill becomes law. The Senate Banking Committee advanced the CLARITY Act in a 15-9 vote last week, causing XRP to briefly surge above $1.50 before sellers reclaimed the $1.45 level.
XRP remains well below its 2025 highs, with traders watching whether the bill's path through the full Senate can deliver the breakout that ETF flows alone have not produced.
