XRP ETFs Sink $133 Million in Value as Investors Keep Pouring Money In
Despite attracting over $1.79 billion in investments, XRP ETFs are struggling to break even, holding only $1.66 billion in assets. This means that each dollar invested in these funds is now worth about 7% less than what investors initially paid.
The issue lies in the timing of the investments, with most coming in when XRP was priced above $2 after its launch in November 2025. Now, with XRP trading at $1.50, down 51% from a year ago and 19% since the start of 2026, these coins are worth less than what investors originally paid.
For XRP funds to match investors' initial contributions, XRP needs to climb about 8% to roughly $1.62, assuming their XRP holdings remain unchanged. However, with average XRP holders over the past year also seeing losses, this seems unlikely in the near future.
