XRP ETFs Sink as Price Drop Leaves Investors Underwater
XRP ETFs have attracted over $1.79 billion in investments but now hold only $1.66 billion, leaving them underwater by -7%. This makes XRP funds the only major crypto ETF group to face a loss since their launch in November 2025.
The situation is attributed to the decline in value of XRP, which has dropped from around $3 a year ago to its current price of $1.50, resulting in investors losing an average of 7% on their initial investment.
Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs, which have all outperformed their initial investments, XRP funds began buying when prices were already above $2, leaving them with a significant gap to close.
