XRP Exchange Flows Soar 182%, But Trading Activity is Key

XRP spot exchange flows have seen a significant surge in recent days, increasing by a whopping 182% over a short period. However, experts view this jump as indicative of heavier trading activity from both buyers and sellers rather than aggressive accumulation.

The report by U.Today suggests that the sharp rise in XRP transfers through spot exchanges may be attributed to various factors such as portfolio rebalancing, profit-taking, fund transfers, and positioning for greater volatility. This interpretation is contrary to the notion of strong buying, which would typically signal a bullish trend.

XRP's price action remains constrained, trading at around $1.10 and still below its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages. According to U.Today, unless XRP reclaims the 50-day moving average of $1.11 to $1.12, any upside attempt is likely to face persistent selling pressure.
