XRP Exchange Outflows Hit $63 Million Amid Price Weakness
XRP investors have withdrawn significant amounts of the asset from major exchanges in recent days, potentially reducing sell pressure despite ongoing price weakness.
According to data from CoinGlass, Binance led with a net outflow of $32.32 million worth of XRP, followed by Upbit at $23.94 million and Coinbase at $8.12 million. In contrast, Bitstamp and Gemini saw modest inflows totaling $1.21 million and $230,000 respectively.
Exchange netflows are a key metric in cryptocurrency markets, reflecting the movement of assets into or out of trading platforms. Outflows typically indicate that investors are moving their holdings to personal wallets for long-term storage, reducing the amount available for immediate sale and easing selling pressure.
This behavior may suggest that some investors view current price levels as an opportunity to accumulate XRP rather than exit their positions. However, it's essential to note that exchange outflows do not guarantee a price rebound and are influenced by various market factors.
