$XRP: Expert Slams 'Extreme Delusion' of $1,000 Price Target
Industry expert ScamDaddy has pushed back against predictions that XRP will see a 300% daily candle, stating 'XRP will never have a 300% daily candle.' This comes after a community member, Seer, suggested that the asset could suddenly break out with an unusually large daily move, citing its explosive price action in April 2017.
Historical data shows that XRP has recorded triple-digit daily gains before, but neither dataset from CoinMarketCap nor another provider shows a 300% daily increase. A 300% gain would mathematically take the asset to roughly $5.96 in one day, with a market cap near $376 billion assuming supply remained unchanged.
ScamDaddy also criticized a separate exchange involving a $1,000 XRP forecast by Aussie XRP, who quoted market commentator Zach Rector. However, Rector's original statement was more restrained, and ScamDaddy described belief in the $1,000 call as either 'extreme delusion' or desperation.
The mathematics show how large such a move would be: from approximately $1.49, XRP would need to rise more than 67,000% to reach $1,000. This would correspond to a market cap of roughly $63 trillion if supply remained around current levels.
