XRP Eyes Resistance Zone as Buyers Defend $1.45 Ahead of Protocol Upgrades
XRP has bounced back to around $1.50 on Oct. 4 as buyers defend the $1.45 support level, ahead of two upcoming protocol activations on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9.
As of now, XRP's price needs to clear the first resistance zone at $1.52-$1.55 for a potential move towards $1.63 and $1.65, according to Trader Symba. However, if the price breaks below $1.45, it could expose XRP to a deeper correction.
The Binance XRP open interest has recovered to 516.6 million but remains far below year-ago levels. The upcoming protocol upgrades include PermissionDelegationV1_1 on Oct. 8 and BatchV1_1, along with fixBatchV1_2, on Oct. 9.
