XRP Faces Uphill Battle to Reach $4 Price Barrier
XRP has never broken through the $4 price barrier in its over 14-year history.
In January, XRP reached a high of $3.40 before giving back all its gains, and again in the summer it stalled out at $3.65.
The maximum lifetime supply of XRP is 100 billion coins, but only 63 billion are currently circulating.
If XRP were to reach $4 by 2028, its Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) would imply a market cap of $400 billion, higher than Ethereum's current market cap of $330 billion.
Ethereum is considered a more valuable asset due to its status as a full-fledged blockchain ecosystem running on top of the world's premier smart contract platform.
