XRP Futures Volume Surges to Six-Month High Amid Leverage Ratio Increase
XRP's futures volume has reached its highest level since early February, surging to $11.37 billion on August 22.
This uptick in trading activity coincided with a significant increase in large XRP withdrawals from exchanges, with transfers of over 1 million XRP rising by 4.3 times in just 48 hours between August 19-21.
The timing of these events is particularly noteworthy, as the surge in futures volume occurred during XRP's recent rebound on the charts.
Binance led the futures activity with $5.63 billion in volume, followed by Bybit, OKX, and Bitget with figures of $2.35 billion, $2.04 billion, and $1.35 billion, respectively.
The strong trader positioning is evident from the increasing leverage ratio on Binance, which has reached its highest level in over seven months.
