XRP Gains Momentum as BIS Research and Senate Vote Loom Large
Digital Asset Investor, a well-known cryptocurrency commentator, has outlined his top reasons for holding a long-term position in XRP. He cited recent initiatives by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the upcoming Senate vote on the Digital Asset Market Structure Clarity Act as key factors.
The BIS's research paper No. 1374 explores how blockchain technology, specifically the XRP Ledger DevNet, can enhance the verification process for published economic statistics. The paper mentions XRP 101 times, which Digital Asset Investor sees as a symbolic link to his '101 reasons' campaign.
He also drew attention to comments from XRPL validator Vet, who noted that the choice of the XRP Ledger DevNet was due to its transparency and immutability. Vet suggested that a non-fungible token (NFT) solution could eventually replace the prototype's memo-field method for data verification.
Digital Asset Investor emphasized the growing significance of the BIS's research and partnerships, stating that these developments reflect XRP's rising relevance for public sector financial infrastructure.
