XRP Healthcare Shuts Down Amid $452K Wallet Breach

XRP Healthcare is shutting down after a wallet breach drained approximately $452,000 from 4,011 user accounts on September 3. The project issued two tradeable tokens, XRPH and XRPHAI, and operated its own XRPH Wallet application.

The wallet bug was caused by a weak key generation flaw that shrunk the wallet's effective keyspace from 2^128 to roughly 2^46. This allowed attackers to reproduce private keys for nine live wallets, including four confirmed drained accounts, using only public information and a partial keyspace scan.

The stolen funds moved through NEAR Intents, crossed to Ethereum via Uniswap V4, and settled as approximately 445,198 DAI in a single Ethereum address. XRP Healthcare has confirmed the orderly delisting of its XRPH and XRPHAI tokens with exchange partners still setting individual withdrawal deadlines.

The company is working with exchanges, platforms, and authorities to recover funds and has asked affected users to submit factual reports on Etherscan using transaction records from their drained wallets. This incident underscores a wider pattern in 2026 where app-layer entropy failures have become the dominant attack vector in crypto wallet security.
