XRP Holders Divided on $10,000 Price Target
XRP holders are pondering what they would do if their cryptocurrency reaches significantly higher prices. According to Jake Community XRP, even reaching $10,000 is a possibility despite powerful interests that might prevent it. However, the group estimates that 90% of holders would sell at $10, while another 9% would sell at $100.
Only 0.9% of holders are estimated to remain until XRP reaches $1,000, leaving just 0.1% positioned to reach $10,000. The group questions the strategy of selling XRP for U.S. dollars at predetermined price targets and suggests using it as collateral instead.
The speaker used an example involving 10,000 XRP, which would be worth $1 billion if the cryptocurrency reached $100,000 per coin. They argued that holders should reconsider immediately converting XRP into dollars at high valuations, as the dollar is failing.
Community members are divided on the projections, with some questioning their economic realism. Marra rejected higher price projections and stated that XRP would reach $5 by spring 2029. Bob de Huisbaas calculated that XRP at $10,000 per coin would produce a market capitalization of approximately $550 trillion or $1 quadrillion based on circulating supply.
