XRP Holds Near $1.50 as Doppler Plans Flare Vault Access
On October 4, XRP's price held steady near $1.50, marking a 0.90% gain over 24 hours as Bitcoin rose 0.79%. The modest increase came after weaker-than-expected U.S. employment data and aligned with Doppler Finance's plans to connect XRP holders with Flare's yield vaults. Doppler reported over $150 million in deposits across its XRP and RLUSD products, reflecting strong user engagement.
The price movement followed the September employment report, which showed only 29,000 jobs added, far below the forecast of 90,000. This data led to a broader market recovery, with stocks rising and Treasury yields falling. While XRP's gain mirrored Bitcoin's advance, the contribution of the employment report to XRP's price movement remains unclear.
Despite the daily gain, XRP was down about 2.8% over the previous week, trading between support at $1.49 and resistance at $1.51, $1.54. Technical levels suggest potential support at $1.48 and $1.40, but no confirmed breakout has occurred.
Doppler and Flare announced a partnership on October 3 to provide access to Flare's FXRP vaults through Doppler's platform. FXRP represents XRP on Flare at a one-to-one ratio, enabling holders to use the asset in lending markets and trading applications. The partnership aims to offer XRP holders more ways to utilize their assets, though no launch date or yield rate has been disclosed.
Doppler also reported over 14,000 depositors placing over $150 million into XRP and RLUSD vaults since February 2025. The company's roadmap includes plans for an XRPL lending service in Q4 2026, subject to the XLS-66 lending protocol's activation, and transferable tokens representing vault deposits.
