XRP Holds Steady Near $1.53 as Remittix Launches PayFi Access
XRP held steady near $1.53 on September 28 as developments in payments infrastructure continued to shape market discussions. ACI Worldwide announced its payments hub, Connetic, will support transactions orchestrated through Swift’s ledger. This integration aims to blend tokenized deposits with traditional bank payment systems, though it does not mandate XRP as the required asset for all Swift payments.
The integration reflects broader industry efforts to merge crypto and traditional banking. XRP, a key player in cross-border payments, saw trading near $1.52, with potential bullish milestones at $1.80 and $2. However, losing support at $1.40 could weaken its short-term outlook. The ACI announcement provides sector context but does not guarantee a direct boost to XRP’s price.
Meanwhile, Remittix has opened PayFi access to its first 1,000 users, offering a platform to convert crypto-funded transfers into fiat payouts to compatible bank accounts. The service supports over 30 currencies, catering to remote workers and clients using digital assets. RTX, Remittix’s native token, is scheduled to debut on November 24, with early users already exploring the platform’s features.
Remittix’s iOS wallet serves as a mobile entry point, with plans for an Android version and a redesigned interface to integrate asset holding, trading, and transfers. The company has raised $32 million from over 40,000 participants, nearing its $36 million hard cap. With its token launch approaching, Remittix aims to bridge the gap between crypto and traditional banking, offering a comprehensive platform for payments and trading.
