XRP Inches Closer to $1.62 Breakout According to Analyst
Cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez has identified key conditions that could push XRP toward $1.62 in the near future. According to his analysis, XRP has been forming a descending triangle pattern on the four-hour chart, which suggests a potential breakout if the price surpasses the hypotenuse of the triangle.
Martinez emphasized that XRP must consistently close above the $1.53 resistance level to confirm a rally toward $1.62. He noted that the token is consolidating within the triangle, and as it approaches the apex, a significant move could be on the horizon. However, a drop below the lower trendline near $1.4699 might delay the bullish outlook.
Despite relatively low demand from whale investors, XRP has shown strong performance over the past six months, with a 12% increase in price and a market capitalization of $95.8 billion. Over the last three months, the token surged by 31%, driven by renewed institutional interest. The 24-hour trading volume also spiked by 75%, reaching approximately $1.95 billion.
Martinez's analysis suggests that XRP is maintaining bullish momentum, supported by a potential higher high on the six-month chart. This rising momentum, coupled with the current market conditions, favors a further uptrend for the crypto asset.
