XRP Ledger Agentic Transactions Surpass 4 Million

The XRP Ledger has reached a new milestone in agentic transactions, surpassing 3.992 million settled on the XRPL. This marks an all-time high and represents a significant increase from just four days ago when the number was at 2.1 million.

The growth is attributed to AI agents using XRP and RLUSD to pay for services directly onchain, including token analysis, crypto intelligence, market research, and prediction-market forecasts. The XRPL AI Starter Kit launched in June this year has also enabled developers to build agentic payment applications, supporting X402-powered payments.

The use of Mastercard's Verifiable Intent standard and the x402 Facilitator, which provides real-time identity verification and risk assessment, has further facilitated agent payments on the XRPL. This move allows merchants and payment networks using t54's infrastructure to safely transact with agents via dispute resolution.
