XRP Ledger Centralization Debate Erupts Over Concentrated Transaction Flow
A controversy has erupted in the XRP Ledger community after research revealed that just 793 accounts handled 93.2% of the network's transactions in August, with 767 of those classified as machine accounts.
The study, conducted by Bitquery, highlighted a potential issue with centralization on the XRP Ledger. The findings have sparked debate among users and developers about the need for greater decentralization.
The discussion has also led to suggestions from the XRP Ledger Foundation's CTO that users could potentially transfer funds from an X Money account directly into XRP, then use the ledger's primitives to generate yield.
