XRP Ledger Foundation Pushes Validators for Final Vote Ahead of Mainnet Activation
The XRP Ledger Foundation is urging validators to finalize their votes on amendments before proceeding with the mainnet activation of the XRP Ledger 3.3.0 upgrade.
According to an update, over 60% of network nodes have already updated to the latest v3.3.0 release, and 68.5% of validators have done the same.
The foundation also highlighted that nodes running older versions risk becoming amendment-blocked if they don't update before mainnet activation.
Additionally, the XRP Ledger Foundation is pushing for validators to finalize voting on six amendments, including Confidential Transfer and Permission Delegation, which introduce authorization delegation mechanisms.
The upgrade includes performance improvements such as reduced memory usage and better node synchronization after XRPL upgrade 3.2.0.
