XRP Ledger Hub Sees Significant Improvement in Active Peer Connections
XRP Ledger infrastructure has shown significant improvement in recent weeks, according to David Schwartz, Ripple CTO Emeritus. His private XRPL hub has returned above 500 active peer connections, with a current reading of 501 and a two-week high of 509.
The reason for this improvement is still unclear, but it's been accompanied by a reduction in peer disconnects over the past two weeks. This comes as XRP Ledger version 3.4.0 rolled out with peer-message handling changes, lending amendments, and other server fixes.
Schwarz noted that his hub became more stable and reliable during this period, but emphasized that the cause of the improvement is still unknown. He also clarified that his comments apply to his own high-capacity hub, not the full XRP Ledger network.
