XRP Ledger Hub Surpasses 500 Peer Connections Amid Upgrade
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) hub has reached a milestone, topping 500 peer connections. According to David Schwartz, Ripple CTO Emeritus, this is near its two-week high of 509 peers. He attributes the improvement to fewer peer disconnects over the past two weeks.
Schwarz shared his chart showing 501 active peers, and noted that the reason for the improvement remains unclear. The update comes as XRP Ledger version 3.4.0 rolls out with changes to peer-message handling, lending, and server fixes.
XRP trades near $1.32, up about 1.8% over 24 hours. Analyst Ali Martinez sees an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern forming on the daily chart, with a potential breakout above $1.55 confirming the setup.
