XRP Ledger Leads Top Networks in Real-World Asset Growth
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has posted an impressive 8.84% increase in real-world asset (RWA) value over the past 30 days, outpacing major competitors like Ethereum and Stellar. Despite holding only 1.29% of the market share among the top ten networks, XRPL's growth rate is the fastest in the group, highlighting its rising prominence in tokenized assets.
Ethereum, which dominates the market with a 42.89% share, saw its RWA value decline by 6.35% during the same period. This decline widens the performance gap between Ethereum and XRPL, which now leads in growth rates. Other networks like BNB Chain, Solana, and Avalanche also showed expansion, but none matched XRPL's 8.84% increase.
Stellar recorded a 6.06% growth, placing it second in terms of expansion, though still behind XRPL by 2.78 percentage points. The data underscores a shift in the RWA landscape, where smaller networks are experiencing stronger percentage growth compared to larger, more established platforms. Ethereum leads by total value, but XRPL is leading the charge in recent expansion rates.
The findings challenge the existing market hierarchy, demonstrating that growth potential does not always align with current market share. As tokenization activity continues to evolve, the performance of networks like XRPL suggests a dynamic and competitive environment.
