XRP Ledger Nears Activation for Key Upgrade

The XRP Ledger is on track to receive its Batch V1.1 upgrade after securing 29 validator votes in favor, paving the way for its activation on September 29.

This upgrade, also known as XLS-56, will enable users to group up to eight transactions into a single atomic ledger update, ensuring that related transactions either complete together or fail together.

According to proponents of the upgrade, this feature will support use cases such as atomic swaps, repo markets, and faster tokenized flows, while improving protocol efficiency and security.
