XRP Ledger Payments Surge Past 1 Million Daily Transactions

The XRP Ledger has seen a significant surge in payments, reaching approximately 1.1 million daily transactions. This is higher than the recent baseline and comes at a time when XRP is trying to maintain its September recovery.

According to XRPL's Payment transaction type, large volumes of individual payments can be produced by automated services, exchange infrastructure, and applications. The increase in payments does not seem to be the result of a single isolated incident, but rather consistent with larger usage in September.

The network has experienced multiple payment spikes exceeding one million, indicating increased on-ledger liquidity and asset activity. This could be contributing to the current spike in transactions across the ecosystem.

In terms of XRP's short-term dynamic, the recent price surge from $1.28 to above $1.60 has corrected to around $1.49. The immediate battlefield is now the $1.45, $1.50 area, with holding it keeping the breakout intact and $1.55, $1.60 within reach.
